I have very curly 3b-3c curls, and some areas of coarse hair. This is the best straightener I think I’ve ever used. I used my Chi 44 iron guard and Chi silk infusion as always, and I also used a brush as I straightened, which I also always do, and my hair was the smoothest I’ve ever seen it! Because my hair is so coarse and curly and I don’t get oily fast, I can usually leave it a couple days before washing. After sleeping on it one night it will usually frizz up a bit. With this straightener I did not experience that at all. I didn’t show much frizz until after the second night, I’m currently on day 3 and my hair is still silky smooth with only a little bit of touching up. The plates fit tight together, in a good way. I’ve noticed with past straighteners that if the plates don’t make full contact it could take longer to straighten. I definitely recommend this straightener for anyone that has curly/coarse/mixed hair like me! The results are smooth, shiny, and natural looking!
