| I purchased the Le Beaute® Ceramic Flat Iron Hair Straightener – 1.25 Inch” Best Salon Professional Hair Straightener for myself, my daughter and several nieces whom all have different styles of natural curly hair. Some of us have a tighter curl or more frizzy curl to deal with on a daily basis. This will be the review of the straightener on my own thick, curly hair. I just want to say that I am lucky enough to have the type of curls where I can add a gel spray to keep them in place out of the shower, however, a humid day does try to bring out the clown hair in me. |
I was immediately attracted to this straightener because of the degrees in which it can adjust. It doesn’t have a guideline. If you were new to a flat iron, I would start from the bottom and play with it until you found the degrees that worked best for you. Being that I have experience, I started at around 300 – 350 and that was sufficient for me.I love the fact that it’s ready within 30 seconds! Let’s face it, we all want easy hair. No one want to spends hours getting it to look that way, so any product that helps speed up that process is so worth it in my opinion. I find that the straightener is very light and it’s easy to handle. Another bonus is that the cord is long.
After blow drying my hair this morning, I took a picture of it in ‘frizz mode’ and then it only took about 20 minutes to straighten my hair. This is really fast for me. I took a video at about the half way mark and then a picture when I was finished of the back. I am very pleased with the ease and functionality of this straightener and would highly recommend it.
The Le Beaute Ceramic Flat Iron is a steal for the cost!! Seriously! It is a wonderful ceramic Flat Iron for your hair! I have shoulder length hair that is of medium texture. It’s not super thick but I have a lot of it! I am able to “beach curl” my hair with this straightener within ten minutes. The curls last thoughout the day but they do loosen. It brings a shine to your hair that is wonderful.
The flat iron itself is of good quality. It says it is ready within 30 seconds but I find it best if you wait a minute or two. I also have it set to heat to 500 degrees which is the highest temperature setting.
The pros of this product are endless. It heats within a minute. The temperature dial is very easy to use although I do wish it had temperature guidelines so you knew where it was set. It is lightweight. It runs through your hair smooth and doesn’t pull or tug on little strands like some flat irons do. It is great at both straightening and curling your hair. The packaging was very nice too! It is a thick sturdy cardboard box and could be used for future storage of the flat iron. Which in my opinion is just another plus!
This Le Beaute Ceramic Flat Iron Hair Straightner works really well. I have been using it for my granddaughter to straighten her hair. after she washes and dries it, I simply plug in the hair straighter, and gently pull it through her hair. It comes out so soft and straight… It also adds just a bit of a shine to her hair.. She is only 9, so I do it for her. This is a tool that gets very hot, so keep that in mind. It is well made and the heated part is well protected, but still with little ones you should be mindful that its hot.. I received this item at a reduced rate for my honest unbiased review.
I was quite skeptical about this product at first seeing that ALL the reviews were “I received this product at a discount rate for my honest review”. I bought it anyways to see for myself and I was not disappointed! It’s decent size and lightweight. It straightens and curls my hair very smoothly without much effort. It works & feels the same as those $150+ ceramic straighteners that people at the mall always try to sell me. After trying out this, my sister decided to buy one for herself as well! There are only two cons to it: The dial and switch are INSIDE and there’s no green light to tell you it’s ready. BUT for the price, I ain’t complaining at all! It’s as good as it gets! I even had a problem with the pricing of this product at first and I contacted the seller and they helped me out real quick. Great service! A++
Le Beaute Ceramic Flat Iron Hair Straightener is a 1-inch wide ceramic hair straightener. The cord swivels 360 degrees so not get tangled and the cord is long too. This iron does heat extremely fast. I use mine on what I think is about 420 degrees and it will heat in 1 1/2 minutes tops. It heats faster than any flat iron I have ever had and I used a lot of them including high end beauty supply brands.
This iron only has 1 thing I don’t like and that is the temperature control knob and location of it. The temp control know is inside the iron and you have to reach your fingers in it sideways to get to it. It also has no marking for temperature other than 180 on the low end and 500 on the high end. Anywhere in between and it is a “best guess”. With the knob location you also can’t see well enough to look directly down on it to tell where the mark is at for current set temperature and it has no digital readout. It only has 1 red LED light to indicate it is turned on. Some people might say this is an advantage since you don’t accidently change the temperature easily, since it is hard to get to. I just turn mine up to 500, then move it back down just a “touch” and hope I am on about 420 degrees.
As far as working, this iron is super. My hair is extremely curly, course, dry and frizzy. In my pictures, the one of me with curls is my natural hair just air dried with a little mousse and no heat. Those curls are not out of a bottle and if this will straighten that hair it will straighten anything. The other picture is just me playing to see how straight I could get it with this iron on a trial run. That was only 2 pretty quick passes on each section of hair. With some more effort, it is really nice and does help with frizzies also. Normally after using a flat iron my hair is not silky smooth, it still has a course fuller look. I can make this iron give it a silky smooth look by using a good heat protector and a little bit of argan oil leave in conditioner. I can comb and comb it and it still doesn’t make it frizzy. Other than the heat control, I like this iron better than my others for the frizzies and how well it straightens so I guess the heat control I will have to look over.
